Privacy Policy

Effective: 26 October 2026

This policy explains how Anna Temporary Drivers Services (“ATDS”, “we”), a sole proprietorship at 12-15-350, Manikeshwar Nagar, near O.U. Campus, Tarnaka, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Telangana 500007, handles personal data when you use the website annatemporarydriverservices.com, the ATDS app, or book by phone. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. What we collect

From customers

  • Name, mobile number and email address.
  • Pickup and drop addresses, booking dates and times, and trip history.
  • The driver’s location during your trip, so you can see where the driver is (in the ATDS app, once it is available).
  • Payment references from our payment provider. We never see or store your card number or UPI PIN.
  • Ratings, complaints and support messages.

From drivers

  • Name, phone number, email address, photo and home address.
  • Identity and driving licence documents needed to verify you.
  • Bank account details for payouts (account holder name, account number and IFSC).
  • Your phone’s location while you are online or on a trip.
  • Trip history, earnings, ratings and support messages.

From website visitors

The website sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps short technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure.

2. Why we use it

  • To take bookings and find a nearby available driver.
  • To show trip progress and keep customers and drivers safe.
  • To take payments and pay drivers.
  • To verify drivers before they receive bookings.
  • To answer support requests and settle complaints.
  • To meet legal duties and prevent fraud.

3. Location

A driver’s location is collected only while the driver is online or on a trip. A customer sees the driver’s location only after the driver accepts the booking. Detailed location points are deleted after 30 days; a short trip summary is kept with the booking.

4. Who we share it with

  • The other side of your booking. The driver sees your name, phone number and pickup details; you see the driver’s name, photo, rating and phone number. If a customer reports damage or a traffic fine caused by the driver during a trip, we share the driver’s full name and phone number with that customer so it can be settled.
  • Service providers who work for us. Razorpay (payments and payouts), Google Maps (addresses and routes), Firebase (app notifications), our email or messaging provider (sign-in codes), and our hosting and storage providers. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.

We do not sell personal data.

5. How we protect it

All connections are encrypted. Driver documents are kept in private storage that only authorised ATDS staff can open, through links that expire. Bank account numbers are stored encrypted. Backups are encrypted. Access is limited to the people who need it.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account details: while your account is open.
  • Bookings and payment records: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • Detailed location points: 30 days.
  • Driver documents: while you drive with ATDS, and afterwards only as long as the law requires.

When you close your account we delete or anonymise your data, except what the law requires us to keep or what is needed to settle an open complaint.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent for its use. You can also nominate a person to act for you, and complain to us about how your data is handled. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the service. Write to the grievance contact below; we reply within the time the law sets.

8. Children

ATDS bookings must be made by adults aged 18 or over.

9. Changes

We will post any change on this page with a new effective date.
